Review – Lush Celestial Facial Moisturiser

lush review celestial facial moisturiser

It has been a while since I have found a moisturiser I have truly liked enough to repurchase so I was really pleased when I tried Celestial Facial Moisturiser from Lush.
This is a light barrier cream that helps keep in moisture for dry and sensitive skin. Celestial is packed full of almond oil and almond milk which is full of Vitamin E to protect the skin from damage. It also contains Glycerine, cocoa butter and dove orchid extract to condition and sooth the skin.

I don’t like anything too heavy on my skin but have found recently that I need something a bit more to help with hydration and generally keeping my skin happy. I found Celestial lightweight but still packs a punch, it definitely leaves slight barrier but it isn’t noticeable after a minute or so. I can apply foundation over the top with no problems.

Lush Celestial has left my skin feeling more hydrated, calm and balanced, I couldn’t ask for much more. I use it morning and night after a serum and  it lasts me about 6 weeks. I am about to go onto my third pot and can see myself repurchasing for sometime.

The other bonus to buying Celestial is that it comes in one of the Lush black pots which you can collect 5 of and take back to store to be recycled in exchange for a free face mask. I have written a whole post on reasons to shop at Lush if you want to check it out.

Have you tried any facial moisturisers from Lush? What are your favourites?
