When I was a meat eater I loved Nando’s, it was one of my favourite places for a quick lunch so I am pleased to know there are still options for me to have now I am vegan.
I took my dad and little girl there for lunch on Sunday and enjoyed a sweet potato and butternut burger, this is vegan if you ask for it without mayo.
As well as sweet potato and butternut it had red pepper, onion and edamame beans in it which was a great combination. I love that the burger was covered in the Nando’s famous sauce too.
The other option is the Supergreen burger which is packed with broccoli, edamame beans and kale. Again this is vegan if you ask for it without mayo. I will be trying this next time I go for sure.
Excitingly I also found out the garlic bread is vegan as it’s one of my favourites, and a few of the sides are vegan or can be adjusted so they are vegan friendly.
I love that so many restaurants have vegan options these day. My plan is to try out as many as I can and let you know what options are available. Any excuse for a meal out hey?
